Research towards zero HIV-related deaths

2011 marked the 30 year anniversary of the discovery of HIV AIDS. Since then, global response and commitment to research and treatment has taken this dread disease and changed the way it is now perceived.

Post 2011, there is renewed hope that by 2015 the world can achieve what is now coined as ‘get to zero’ — zero new infections, zero deaths and zero discrimination.

The Clinical HIV AIDS Research Unit is an integral part of the research required to achieve this objective. Welcome to our site and to this window on the work we do.
