Pharmacy

The Research Pharmacy at CHRU is designed according to world-class specifications and run by an experienced team of pharmacists and pharmacist assistants.

Specialised facilities in the pharmacy include a Class II, Type A2, biological safety cabinet which is maintained and certified at ISO class 5, within an ISO Class 7-certified clean room, following off an ISO Class 7-certified white room. This ensures the highest standards of safety and sterility in aseptic study product preparation.

The pharmacy has advanced web-based temperature control systems to optimally maintain drug storage conditions.

The pharmacy has a comprehensive set of Standard Operating Procedures covering a range of procedures including study product importation, receipt, storage, dispensing, destruction and quality management.
